Trees in water
The rivers around here have been slowly rising as the rain pours down and the snow melts. The kind of weather which always makes me long to put on some rain boots and grab a camera. Finally last weekend i did.

Picture postcard of a winter morning.
It's 29 degrees outside my parents' house. The deck is covered in very beautiful sparkly ice crystals. There's a fat squirrel eating acorns in the garden, and one of my mum's elderly cats just put her paws on my leg and mewed to tell me she wants 'up' (she's too lazy to jump when there's someone to lift her) and now she's purring on my lap.
