What a golden opportunity - friends, a reason to celebrate. If ever there was a reason to buy Kanye West's new album, I think we can agree, this is it. Let's all rush out and buy as many copies as we can possibly justify.

I can now officially announce my visit home, from 2 September to the 14th! Less than a month! I want to split my time between Asheville and Greensboro, though I'm not sure exactly how just yet. Anybody want me to bring anything specific from Israel? I promise to try.

I'm not the boy who goes for wood in winter and comes back in spring with a whistle. But though it was seemingly the wrong tree to bark up, I'm just glad for the reassurance. Rediscovering that cat was a breath of relief, a resurrection. Happiness is for me, too. Moving on, again...

People are amazingI've recently caught both Arabic hip hop and Hebrew reggae on the radio here. Both were amazing in that they were actually really good. Some languages just don't lend themselves well to certain musical or vocal stylings, but the Arabic hip hop was really quality and invigorating - too bad I wasn't able to find out who the artist ( Read more... )
