So last year, round about this time, tygie_bard and I got into a discussion about the claymation holiday classic Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, that prompted a major philosophical discussion in my LJ: What the hell is wrong with the little girl dollie with the pigtails?

I do know that last year on TWoP u8nder the cartoon and kids forum there was a forum for the Rankin Bass Christmas specilas and somehow there was a discussion on how sexist Rudolph was.
