This evening passed as a beautiful date with Karissa to celebrate her return from Europe. She says that we can begin our summer together, since the frigid excuse for June this year did not count. I have been wide awake for days!   I'm not used to having tired body, happy busy buzzing mind...  It's wonderfully productive, and yet at the same time I wonder if there are hidden costs.   :)

If not, then this must be what being a grown-up feels like.  ;) 

I have experience a unique degree of satisfaction this year, that dawned on me slowly in small bite size pieces.  I think it didn't want to scare me away.  :}  I have only been this happy at one or two other times in my life: both in love, both in situations that seemed at the time to be gifted to me, finite but wonderful.  I think that this is the ( Read more... )
