I was up all night thanks to a terrible headache, even though I was so very tired. Luckily I'm not a "normal" person so I I got plenty of sleep (even though I didn't actually get to sleep until 7:30 am or so). Elephants and Tara
Today was very up and down for me. Too many days are like that lately...
I tried my hardest to focus on the ups. Started reading Water for Elephants in the back yard (which I may have accidentally stolen from bullyface and didn't realize I had -- sorry little sis, I'll have to remember to return it to you). I'm making waffles!
Just made some multigrain waffles to put into the freezer for some 'quick and easy but much tastier and healthier than Eggo' meals. Somehow the waffle iron got put away without being cleaned after our waffle making family fun night not too long ago, so it was interesting trying to get that clean. Oops. Attention Vampires!
Today I made an appointment to give blood next week. This is something I've been wanting to do for years, but haven't quite gotten around to it. Years ago I had my blood taken every few months for awhile to keep tabs on my thyroid (subclinical hypothyroidism. It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood, about 70 degrees (give or take a few degrees). Tomorrow Andrew and I are biking over to UCF to see the Flight of the Conchords.
I know in my mind that I'm ridiculously excited, but I can't actually feel it, yet. I'm not worried, though. It'll be amazing, no doubt about that.
