So I totally have Tonsillitis. I remembered that I conveniently worked at a hospital, so I went to the ER last night @ like Midnight and was in and out in like 30 mins. Go ER staff! They love me. I got two shots in the ass, which hurt like hell but totally did the trick. I'd much rather go through 5 minutes of pain than 5 days of antibiotics. I got

Ugh I thought I had tonsilitis a while ago (turns out it was just a shitty tonsil infection) and it was awful!! I actually went into urgent care in so much pain that I started crying from it when they pressed on my tonsils. Sooooo bad. You seem to have such bad medical luck lately!!

Anyway... so you work for the ER, I'm sure you've explained it before but what exactly do you do there? How do you get a job like that, does it require extensive medical training or getting your medical assistant license or whatever? It seems pretty interesting.

I knowwww! Its the damn hospital. I work in a germ cesspool.

Yeah, it was more of a shitty infection than a serious case of tonsillitis. I got the beginnings of strep though, so that was tons of fun.

Yeah, I basically register patients. I make them sign all that fancy paperwork, copy insurance and ID cards, get all the necessary info so that they can be billed for their visit. It's neat, I like it a lot cause its in the ER so theres allllways action. Like last night, some guy came in cause he was stabbed in the ass. In the ass!! What a place for a stab wound.
