So, I am now all on my own taking care of patients on the night shift. It's been going pretty well. I had my first code blue. It wasn't my patient, but when the alarm went off, I was one of the first people in there, and that was pretty intense. tonight is the night that I work the night shift.

Today I worked for twelve hours. That part had its ups and downs.

But when it was all over, I walked home, called in for takeout, took a hot shower, read a book in complete silence, ate said take out and read MORE.

...This is pretty much the greatest way to live. ever.

This weekend, I moved into a new apartment on the third floor of my apartment complex. Same complex, different apartment, no roommate. Thus far, I have found this sphere of living to be the most agreeable living arrangement possible. It is quite ALL the time. No upstairs neighbor's child falling around. So here I sit, a Monday night in my apartment. All of my health insurance, dental coverage and official board of nursing license (the paper one) arrived in the mail today.
