Today I bought three new CDs: Velvet Revolver's new one, Ben Folds' "Forever and Ever Amen", and Coheed and Cambria's new one. I started listening to Velvet Revolver on my way across town, and it sounds pretty much like I expected. There's a lot of chest-thumping and "fuck the worlds", and...I don't know. Loverly, loverly, loverly. It's 1:30 a.m. I have to work at 8 a.m. And I cannot fall asleep. Insomnia is not fun, especially when one has to work a split shift tomorrow, as I do. So there was a phone call tonight, after work, on the way home. I avoided the sound of my muffler as best as I could. And panic as I realized the phone only rang once, then made this repetitive clicking noise -- even in his mistakes he makes music. I hung up, self-flagellation insued.
