We're getting closer to when we go to Albania for 3 weeks. In one way I'm very excited. In another way I have some apprehensions. In the past I have used such travels as one way to validate my personal importance. I realize that's kinda strange...or even a little sick. But I did. It's been a long time since the last major "ministry" travel

You sound so calm about going to Albania. "In one way I'm this way, in another way I'm that way . . ." I'm dumbfounded. If it was me going to Albania I'd be shaking in my boots. I would just be concerned with coming back alive. I think you and your family are amazing, awesome and a little crazy! What would the Kingdom be like without people like you and Ellen, Heather and Cory? By the way, an experience like this is bound to at least "shape" your future if not decide it. I say by all means be free to enjoy this fully, but, by all means DO expect something major afterwards.

Okay, you just about let the dogs out! I'm trying to be all rational about it so I don't carried away and you give me this great advice to enjoy this fully. Okay, if you insist :) But please pray for us from May 16-June 8.
I asked El what was the scariest thing about going (w/all the history involved there)...she said it was having to use the squatty potties. What a woman!
