Writer's Block: Ten minutes in heaven
I think I would spend 10 minutes just being with my true love, not talking, not kissing, just holding one another and being grateful for the time. -
Finally
I have gotten a job at long last. I will be starting on Monday, March 2. I am hoping that this means that the universe approves of one or two of the plans that have been running through my head in the last 12 hours or so. -

Friend Scott passed away last night of a heartattack. He was only 44. It is all too sad for words. -
Driving Lessons
I have now had two driving lessons. One around the parking lot at the mall and one just now out in the neighborhood. I'm not sure how I did really. I did stall a couple of times, mostly when trying to start from a full stop. I can also say hills scare the shit out of me. What's up with the rolling backwards? Keeping Busy
So I have spent the few days running around like that perverbial chicken but at last I think I have everthing sorted. So a new twist in the life. It turns out that the funky smell that has been upstairs at the house is in fact mold. So now both Erika and I are sick. I went to the doctor's earlier in the week and am on 4 different medications. And our landlord couldn't care less. Finally I can breath a sigh of relief. I have a job. True it is a temp one, but a long term temp job. The pay is not bad though the commute is likely to be a bitch. Still not bad overall. I will be working for a bank doing mail distribution which is not the mailroom, or so I'm told. I guess I'll see what it's really like tommorrow. Now all I have ( Read more... ) -

Pennsic Wrap Up
After a few hiccups in the form of the car overheating I made it to Pennsic on the 1st. Got a good camp site sort of in the back of beyond but that's all right.
