Yeah Scholastic has said that Deathly Hallows will be 784 pages! Which means it will be the longest book after OotP, though I am sure it will not be nearly long enough.

It might be just barely long enough so long as she forgets about the snogging. HBP could have gone into so much more interesting territory has she left out all the teenie bopper romance.

Nothing per se. I rather enjoy it myself, but there's a story that needs to be told here!

Yes but JKR says that love will play a prominent part in the last book. So doesn't it stand to reason that Harry's love for Ginny might be part of that? Besides show me one 17 year old guy who doesn't spend at least half his time thinking about shagging someone and I'll give you...well anything your heart desires. The best thing about these books is that the characters are so human and not just archtypes.
