Here's a present for my Canadian buddies. I hope this brings back some memories, because it seriously just made me squeal out loud.

Oh god! I recognised that rainbow! LOL

We actually had to watch this in Grade 9!

And it just reminded me of a chest full of hats.... Another show...

You watched Téléfrançais in grade NINE? Hahaha that's amazing! I thought Ananas was just an elementary school thing! I wish we'd gotten to watch it in high school. That would have been all kinds of win.

I used to...maybe...watch it when it was on TV then... but no, our teacher was pretty cool. So she dug up a copy and we "got to" watch it.
Inner-city schools rule! haha

Ahhh, that makes sense, then. Our high school bio teacher would sometimes bust out Bill Nye the Science Guy videos, just for kicks. That was always awesome. XD

Oh no! I guess you guys wouldn't have Ananas in Australia. Téléfrançais is a show that as far as I know, every Canadian kid born in the 80s watched when they were in elementary school French class. It was about two kids (Jacques and Sophie) and this pineapple (Ananas) and they sang and danced and taught us to speak French. Everyone loved Téléfrançais. Like, when the teacher would put the video on, everyone in the class would sing along and get all excited...Ananas was the best!
