I got one of those phone calls yesterday. The phone calls that you dread getting. The ones where the conversation starts out "You might want to sit down". I can't believe how fast these last few weeks have gone by. Spending all of this time with Luke has spoiled me so bad. I have gotten used to him always being here and as of sunday night he has to go back to Lafayette for the fall semester and I am stuck only seeing him every other weekend. I am back at work today. My back is hurting kinda bad but I took some medicine and I have my heating pad on my chair. Getting some rest yesterday was nice. It was even better to have Luke home to take care of me. He made me chicken noodle soup and Mac and cheese with tuna and spinach. He laid with me while I napped. I have been very clumsy lately. Not sure if my blood sugar has been going crazy...or if I need to have my blood pressure checked out but something is obviously wrong. I have not gotten to sleep past 7 0'clock in the morning in like 2 weeks. I am so exhausted. I would have sold my right kidney to stay in bed this morning with all of the rain and thunder. This was the best weekend. I am so glad that Luke is home. Its so refreshing when me and him get to spend time together. We ordered food last night and went and had a picnic in his back yard.
