Things are looking up I think. Another day off = another day to rebuild my sanity. Mich is coming to visit Saturday. Yay! We shall go mongolianing and pony riding methinks. Can't wait. I miss her lots. I miss Manda and Schtu lots too. I don't like being away from home. I miss home.

It's been a hell of a few weeks. Two weeks into camp, half way through my first session of campers and I'm already ready for them to go home. I'm just so tired. So tired of rudeness. Well, I've never had an experience quite like today. I've never been or felt so close to an animal before. I've never sat with and watched and held an animal as they died. Today I did. So Heather and I realized today that through the Canadian Donkey Sanctuary, you can be a foster parent to donkeys. You have to take them in pairs so that they have a friend, and then all you have to pay for is partial trailering cost and the general cost of taking care of the donkeys.
