Spent Monday and Tuesday at a short course on Quaternary Techniques. Measuring change and reconstructing past environments. We got a tour of the ice core lab. The lab in which they work on the cores is about -20C. But since the air is very dry, it does not feel that cold. However, the room in which the cores are stored in is a very chilly -35C. I am back in New Zealand. I have had a job offer in Wellington, so if all the paperwork goes well (*fingers crossed*), Brian and I will be moving soon. I am really going to miss chch, but if I can get some actual work experience in my field, then its a good step.

Thank you to everybody who signed the card for myself and Brian! It was lovely to receive in the mail and be so surprised. Thank you Simeon for the brilliant idea.

Running around organizing details (the small ones). The only large thing left is to get photographer confirmed. Then making favors for the reception. Seating chart. We are at 99 people and counting as of tonight. Flowers sorted yesterday, mostly cream roses with sprays of blue ferny type things. Did a trial run of wedding hair.
