yah, i mean, i could scrimp and save to buy the other one, but why? i would have no place to put my socks in the meantime.

And you might find something similar to your dream chest (wow, that could be taken the wrong way) at a garage sale or antique store. There are a plethora of super cheap antiques to be had North of Pittsburgh.

i bought the chest last night (the target one). i wish i could make the time to do some antique shopping, but we're living out of rubbermaid containers at the moment and needed a quick solution. i'll probably shop antique for the guest room, though. that's not as urgent as our bedroom.
