Well, my body has finally hit a limit for the amount of awesome it can handle. PAX was glorious, followed by a few days of frantic work where I was a rockstar, followed by heading up to Canada for a few days of partying. Now I'm sick. PAX 2007 = WIN
Okay, so I'm still a bit fatigued from PAX. Which was, without doubt, a resounding success. From Wil Wheaton's keynote speach, to the Expo hall that was always hopping, to lines of Enforcers creating spear walls with industrial cardboard tubes, to the epic final round of the Omegathon (Halo 3! I'm feeling very, very silly today. Last night was very, very good. And most enjoyable. Tristan & Isolde is actually a pretty good movie. Some inaccuracies, but it's Hollywood and I can forgive that. The Celtic music playing during the menu screen is also really good background music.

Business as usual
So it's been a busy couple weeks of life! After Jeff's National Tournament, I've been playing my own soccer (still at 4 games a week) and doing Enforcer-related things. So we'll address things in that order.

So while working on cleaning up some files on my computer two nights ago I ran into some old stuff that brought back memories. Got me a little jaded towards the concepts of love and relationships. Tourny weekend
So the soccer tournament this weekend was a blast. I'm totally exhausted from it though, so work is a struggle today. Kinda why I'm here.

Need to take a break. Reading SEC filings can drive a man to kill himself from boredom. Seriously, they're as bad as legal documents.
Life continues to go well. I'm way short on funds right now, due to new car purchase and associated costs. Hopefully in the process of turning that around and building up the savings again. Let's have a month ( Read more... ) -
Not much, just a status update
Not much to post here, just a basic status update on life. Work is eating up to 12 hours a day, including transit time. Crazy, but I'm loving this job more and more. Honestly enjoying the work, not just the people and the environment. Of course, seeing my work create direct results in the company is always a huge morale boost.
