loss of a friend

Greg McMullan is gone. It's hard to wrap my head around that.

I met him back around 1985 at MIT, when we were both students. I didn't know him as well as some, and we largely lost touch after he moved out of the Boston area, but I am glad to have had him as a friend. He was a good man, and he'll be missed.

I guess I don't know him. Someone else on my friends list, who I went to high school with in Louisville, has also mentioned this. I can't imagine how you and she both know the same person.

I barely knew Greg, but he made an impression on me as a fundamentally decent guy. Wish I'd known him better.
