I'm really sad to read that one contestant actually lived something like what I was going to use for the other fiction piece, so I feel better about using this entry. In my eyes that would've been disrespectful to his sharing their experiences on the topic this week.

I've heard too many people (not any of my close relatives thank God) bitch out someone because didn't sell their firstborn to buy them EXACTLY what they wanted to look forward to hearing it again this year.

But really, that's what the holidays are all about. AND you won't have to buy the first born any presents any more, so more presents for them!
