I just passed our breakroom at work... the TV was showing news footage just taken at the Van Nuys airport (1 block north of our apartment)... there is SNOW covering the hills just to the north of us, a few miles away.

SNOW - in the San Fernando Valley.

That's just crazy!

So, this was just emailed to us today regarding a luncheon we have later on today: ".... Due to the size of our group we will be seated outside on the patio."

*Looks outside at the storm clouds, rain, wind, and breezing cold.*

Uuuuhhh.... yeah... right... This will be interesting...

Update: Lunch will be at the Yard House instead - woo, cider!

*Grumbles* Annoyed at myself... finally ran the Star Wars session I've been greatly looking forward to for a few months now, only to botch how I ran the stupid thing. What a goddamned fucking waste of time.

S'funny... I know that there's no pleasing everybody all of the time, even when you try your damnedest.

Still, you can't help but still feel bad and that you've failed when things don't work out.
