I'm glad the Aluminum Falcon is OK (hadn't known about that name before, hee hee!), but I can imagine that you would have tensed up bigtime when it happened. Would that explain some of the soreness?
Glad no one was hurt in the accident (including your car, buts thats a much lesser concern). Its surprising how even a small bump can cause 'whiplash-type' symptoms. On a flight to Portland a few years ago we had a pretty bumpy landing - nothing too bad. But it was enough to leave me feeling 'ill' for the next three days.
Huh. Well, maybe that explains why I feel kind of crappy. I think I would much prefer to accept that explanation than the possibility of coming down with something on the one weekend that I'll have the chance to just chill out and relax.
And indeed, I'll get sore sometimes from the over-enthusiastic braking of the "not the real driver" bus driver on my route. So I can totally see how a sharp smack on the bumper would lay you up a bit.
