I agree that it's a beautiful name, but it is on our list of names forbidden on the grounds they totally constitute "asking for it"! I urge you to bear this in mind a few months from now. (btw, have I offered you my congratulations? Love!)

Hermes is an interesting idea (and wouldn't be our first gender-bent name; Bast was a boy). For Loki, see above. It's right below Kali on the Inadvisable Name List!
