Sorry, all the parties I know about are on Dec 30. Including Colleen and Steve's. Tomorrow night is dead for us as well.
*hugs*

Same thing for me as well, and I may have chore-type stuff to do. See you on Tuesday?

Hope you get your chores done! Yes, I should see you Tuesday at Ducklings lunch as usual.

FTR, I don't like Anonymous comments -- I guess that's what happens when I allow public reading. Anyhow, thanks for the heads-up on the Dec. 30 party, whoever you ("us") are.

I'll vote for "overconstrained" because it was a specific day. I'm scheduled to panic all day tomorrow. :)

I hope you find something enjoyable to do. Something productive would be an acceptable substitute if you feel pleased and content at having done it.

Yes 7patches" will be coming over this evening, and we'll be going out to dinner and coming home to watch movies. So much for productivity, but I'm happier anyway :-) .

I hope your panicking is going well :-) .

We had the ship hit the sand this week, with Fred's brother getting EXTREMELY ill.

Eek! I hope he gets better real soon! I'm feeling much better now myself.

My practical suggestion on organized events is that I leave the notices for even the ones I'm not really planning to attend in my email inbox until after the date of the event has passed; that way if my plans change they're immediately available. It doesn't happen often but when it does it's convenient, and the total number of events is sufficiently small that it does not unreasonably clutter things.

Ah yes. I actually have a "Calendar Items" mailbox, which I haven't looked in or added to in months. It would make a lot of sense for me to use it more often. Thanks!

Actually, the trick -- in my experience -- is *not* to use a Calendar or Events or whatever mailbox. For me that's just a black hole; I don't check it often enough. I just leave it in my main inbox. That may seem counter to principles of so-called good organization, but it works for me.

For me the Calendar box is pretty much *meant* to be a black hole. I'm not going to an event unless I've put it in my PDA, so it should only go into Calendar Items if I'm not going, or if there's info that I just might want to forward. I try to keep my inbox as an inbox, not as a file cabinet. It hasn't been working very well lately; there are 457 messages in there. I had it down to less than 10 at one point, so I know it can be done....

Anyway, Happy Holly Days!

I had to look up Harold Stassen. He's up on me, because he's actually been elected to something. But I see your point. Logic sometimes doesn't make it past a pout.
