Cashews!

I <3 cashews, but they're so expensive ...

They're not so bad if you get them from Trader Joe's. Besides, even with their health benefits, they have enough calories that you probably don't want to be eating them like popcorn, so even if they're expensive as nuts go, I don't think they'd make a big dent in your budget. The "snack size" Ziploc bags you can get now are great for the "[d]ivide into small portions" thing.
