It only gets interesting once you have invited some friends (under the Friends tab on the Home page). Then you can follow each other's lives and interests, upload news and photos and links, send messages back and forth, run (and write) in-site applications, and what-not. I don't generate much content; following other people's status, photos, etc. and sending email is about enough for me. I also join causes, FWIW.
Well, to make matters interesting, we are now living just south of Denver. I guess that would cut down on the frequency of casually coming over for a party.
We have memberships for BayCon, we need to get a room there this year.
I should be in the area the first weekend in March for the Frozen dead Guy Days. Maybe I could visit? Is Fred still cadreamer... I don't see a way to do 1-1 communication on LJ; besides, I like my mailer's interface better....

What does one do on Facebook? I've never gotten the hang of it.
