I think fans would be all over this shit. The thing that would piss me off most is when you pay $50 for a decision after 8/12 rounds or worse yet a draw!!! So you may have to rethink how you build the undercard a bit more, but I would think just padding the back end a bit would not be that hard. I believe the longest sanctioned fight (back when fights actually had this rule...) was something like 25 rounds. Figure that since most fights are scheduled for 12 rounds anyway. That's only an extra 52 minutes. They have more than that in post fight wrap up. You could just have a previously recorded fight ready to go as a backup. Some no name boxers or something. Most of the fights are at like 10:30 or 11:30 anyway, so it really wouldn't hurt if they just blocked out the time till 3:00 or 4:00am - really 1:30 isn't the best ppv time slot.

Good luck getting anyone to sign up for Pay Per View for a fight that is going to take up the whole time slot so you won't get to see how it ends.
