So, Transformers 2 is out, and believe me when I say it's every bit as ridiculous and stupid as the first one, if not more so.  At the very least, there's 150% more leg humping humor, and twice as many robot testicles as the first one.  Anyway, there's a certain mindset that seems to pop up when ever a movie like this is being discussed.  People ( Read more... )

I won't tell you not to see it, but I personally think it's a horrible movie, and probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

T4 was better. It wasn't very good, but you at least get the feeling that they were trying to make a good movie. Michael Bay doesn't even try, it's just "Explosion! Explosion! Slow motion! Dick and fart jokes! Slow motion explosion!"

I don't think the first Transformers was very good either, but it feels like a more complete and cohesive movie than part two. I think the first one could almost be a good movie if they gave more personality to the robots, trimmed out all of the unfunny "comedy" bits, and jettisoned the lame subplot with the computer hackers. This one... I don't think they could save it without pretty much starting over from scratch and redoing the whole thing.
