Kent Takes You to the Craters of the Moon
Around 2,000 years ago or so, south central Idaho erupted in volcanic activity, building up impressive cinder cones and spewing out floods of lava. Miles and miles of ground was covered with lava flows, cinder-covered slopes, and errant lava rocks, some of which turned out to be nice (pahoehoe), and others not-so-nice (a'a). Me: No.

Fly Sun Valley
I just got back from a weeklong vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho. Please don't ask about the wisdom of taking a vacation while you are in the process of moving. Caved in and Joined Facebook
I was a holdout for a long time because I didn't think I would be interested in a social networking tool. I much preferred the journal format, since it is much more conducive to composing detailed entries as opposed to the more "fly by" nature of social sites ( Read more... )
