Last Thursday, I performed with the IRIS orchestra in Germantown - a ritzy suburb of Memphis. The concert was elating - the perfect antidote to the ambivalent feelings I've been having lately about orchestra. Pinkus Zuckerman and his wife Amanda Forsythe were the soloists. The grey is returning to San Francisco, putting my heart at ease. I settle into that quiet comfort of feeling at home and content. My horn-playing has been going so well, lately.
