This is just a placeholder to say that a few days ago I dipped my toes into reading Avengers fic, and then it ate my brain, and now I am shipping Clint/Natasha like you would not even freaking believe.

I am ransacking AO3, but does anyone have any other recs?

I just realized how little Clint/Natasha I've read. I ship everyone with everyone and some of the stranger pairings (Clint/Coulson, Darcy/Anyone) seem to get way more play than the more canon or even more sense-making non-canon ships. I love pretty much all the ships that don't include Loki.

I have tried a little bit of everything in my meanderings, and was actually a bit surprised by my tastes running to Clint/Natasha, but then I read one fic that basically took a sledgehammer to kinks I didn't know I had for that pairing, and that was it.

I've read some Clint/Darcy, which is kind of fun if done right. I read a little bit of Clint/Coulson, enough to confirm that for me, Coulson is happily asexual onscreen. I tried some Steve/Tony to confirm that a) slash is still not my cup of tea and b) it strays too far from canon for me.

I saw a Loki/Sif rec that I've been meaning to try, but Thor/Loki is just a giant red flashing NO for me.

I have been plowing through Avengers fic and yet? I don't think I've read any of these. Weirdly it took me like 3 minutes to suss out what you meant by R/B fic. Cause I'm ridiculous. Last names, b. Last names.

I think the indexer at AO3 is gone a little hinky. I have had trouble re-finding fic for which I know both the author and title, and have gotten some different search results on basic, broad pairing searchs.

I've been trawling AO3 daily for new Thor/SAvengers fics, and have bookmarked probably almost a hundred stories in various stage of completion since seeing Thor and Avengers in May. I fell like a ton of bricks for Thor and the relationship between him and Loki. Family angst is such a sticky honeypot of fannish joy for me.
