Can someone explain to me the male inability to close things? I'm serious. If I did not know any better, I would be forced to conclude that M is physically incapable of closing any of the following: doors, jars, Tupperware, plastic baggies, shampoo bottles, toothpaste tubes, cabinets, closets, drawers, tool boxes, oh and basically anything and ( Read more... ) -

Six hours of hard physical labor at the barn in low single digit temperatures...if I move from this cozy chair before dinner, it will only be to put the tea kettle on for more hot water.
So done with this winter, you guys. So freaking done. It is sapping my will to live, much less be productive.

I have been reading some fantasy that makes frequent reference of Irish/Celtic mythology, and thinking I know little to nothing about it.
Can anyone recommend a good source? Like the Edith Hamilton of Celtic mythology? -

I have been home sick for two days with some kind of nasty bout of food poisoning/stomach bug. The cat is doing an admirable job of keeping me company and I think I may have turned the corner - had the teensiest bit of an appetite.
