I have been on a new recipe kick this week. Here are two that have worked out beautifully:
Creamy Pumpkin PastaQuick, easy, and very very tasty. Not the healthiest ever - at least as written - but I bet you could substitute milk for the cream and just simmer a little longer to get the same thickness. (I didn't use pine nuts or puree the sauce out ( Read more... ) -

Truck will be okay! It wasn't the radiator after all, it was the water pump, and replacing it has resolved the hissing noise I'd been hearing for several months now. It wasn't as expensive as I had feared, either. <3 my truck.
That scare has made me redouble my efforts to save for a new car, though, and I can probably swing something by the summer ( Read more... ) -

I was driving the truck because the little car is doing so poorly a list of its ailments would take 20 minutes.

For wldhrsjen3, who was curious, and others who might want to know:
Honey Walnut Cream Cheese
8oz cream cheese
1/2 C walnuts
3 tbs honey
I tossed thee ingredients in a food processor and blended thoroughly. The result is more of a whipped cream cheese, since the blades aerate it.
Next time I would blend the honey and cream cheese first, then add the walnuts for ( Read more... ) -
