Star Trek: Into Darkness was good. It was not worth the midnight showing and subsequent 4.5 hours of sleep. Nothing is. I feel like death warmed over, and of COURSE this is the day I'm manning the museum practically alone and then walking a 5k after work. Uuuuuuugh.

I am off to volunteer at a horse trial this weekend, and when I am jump judging, I read poetry. I have read through most of what I had always meant to read, so I am seeking recommendations.
Anyone you like in particular?

I can't even begin to describe how surreal it is to see such chaos and violence in a place that is so intensely familiar to me. I walked those exact streets on Saturday night.
