I have not written in here in months. Sometimes I wish I did because there have been some pretty great stories, and some very important moments that one day i'll wish I could retrace my thoughts and emotions of that particular event. And all i'll have to rely on is my own memory...

From a single store in Portland, Oregon, Hollywood Entertainment has grown to become an industry leader with more than 2,000 Hollywood Video superstores and more than 600 Game Crazy specialty retail outlets nationwide.

For the record, the Amherst store is one of SIX stores in the ENTIRE COUNTRY getting shut down. WTF??? OUT OF 2,OOO!?

Not to mention, the past 48 hours have been maaad weird.

So, I walk into work today. I'm immediately told that our store is permanently closing. We have 7-9 weeks left. Tonight was the last night to rent out a movie at that store ever again. And we basically are their slaves to packing up the store for the next 2 months. From that point on, I will be jobless.

I hate job searching. This blows.
