We have a shitty little espresso machine and it doesn't even heat up the milk with the steamer thing. Not impressed. But it was a present from Natasha's dad and we had little say in the present buying process. So don't get a cheapo $50 one. That's my advice. Or buy one of those hand-held milk steamers separately (if you want one).

The problem with the one that we have is that the "steamer" nozzle is too near the rest of the machine (and doesn't move), so we can't actually fit a cup under it. When you are looking at them in the store, grap a mug off the shelf, pretend it's full of liquid, and make sure it fits.
