Happy St George's Day Flist!
Apr 23, 2013 21:01
The only sign of St George's Day imagery I've seen today was an advert of a bacon sandwich, cut into a squares, with leaking tomato ketchup forming the red cross. Oh, and the Google picture.
How about you?

It's pitiful really. A few years ago Bombardier (the beer not the trains) made a proper effort in London. Nothing this year.

Mmmm, bacon.
And those are lovely and would have improved the bus stops of London no end, if anyone'd had the imagination to post them there.

And would have seen no more than a bacon sarnie if you'd been in London (and maybe some red and white bunting in a few pubs). Weak, I say, weak.

"Advance our standards, set upon our foes
Our ancient world of courage fair
St. George inspire us with the spleen of fiery dragons."
And no, I didn't see any birthday doodah for Bill this year - they had a bit of an orgy last year, didn't they?
