I'm having trouble coming to terms with the idea of "professional theatre". All I'm seeing at the moment is an overworked staff, incompetent design teams, and a director who knows his way around Equity rules so well that he's basically turned the last week, and the next two, into nothing but 10/12's. I can no longer recognize the right side of my body as my own. This is an issue that I will be addressing with the Run Crew Manager today. Hopefully, by the end of Inishmore, I will not look like I've had a stroke. That would be bad.
