my cellphone keeps displaying the icon that indicates that i have a voicemail, when my voicemailbox is empty...

anyone know whats causing this and how to make it stop?

when you go into your messages where you have the option of viewing your inbox, sent, and draft folders, do you also have voicemail listed where it tells you how many messages you have? If you do, open that folder and you should have an option to "clear voicemail counter" or something similar.
