I've been feeling GOOD.  That's right good.  I chalk it up to all the inevitable endorphins that build up from exercising.  A LOT.  Like every day for the last month or so, I think.  I'm a lil bit addicted.  Srsly.

I am leaving the house today.  For a reason other than school.  In fact, I have planned hang-out dates for the next three days.  No sir, no hiding in my cave this weekend... oh, but it is a lovely cave... in fact, I think I might be missing it already.... NO!  I am leaving the house today.

VH1 Behind the Music is back!  Once again I get to watch sappy melodramatic biographies about artists I don't even like.  Can't turn away.  September 10th it starts with Lil' Wayne.  Yeeess.

...but it's oddly addictive.  This isn't a pity lure.  Actually, I don't have too much to worry about because I don't think people really read my posts.  The whole lj thing has passed.  At least that's what I'm banking on.

Well, my mind has been occupied lately.

It goes along with one of my recent posts... two friends of mine are getting a divorce.  I was a bridesmaid in their wedding.  They were married just shy of three years (October).

I feel pretty selfish, because I feel betrayed. I wanted them to work.  They should have worked.

I don't think I buy into it.

There lies nothing intrinsically sacred about the prospect; it has too often been rendered a mockery.  &I think more impression is made by the relationship behind the act.  Walk down the aisle = a lot of pomp &circumstance.  A committed relationship, in fact, seems a little more romantic to me without the license - not ( Read more... )

I wrote one post shortly after I moved out of my parents' house.  That was four years ago; here I am again.  In a lot of ways, things have come full circle.  Not half-circle - that's what people usually mean when they say full circle.  I mean 360.  &sometimes 180.
