Does anybody know of any readily available references to king arthur? i have to do an "arthuriography" for my arthurian literature seminar in which i cite uses of arthur legend today. so far i have ( Read more... )

ah, the chorus to death cab for cutie's "we laugh indoors" is, "i loved you, guinevere / i loved you, guinevere, i loved you" repeated about four times! though i can't really prove that it's any sort of arthurian reference at all, so really this is just me being a geek.

standardized spellings were considered valuable only after the invention of the printing press, which came towards the end of arthuriana; there were dozens of spellings of every single name, character, place,...word...before that. what i'm getting at in a very long way is that i don't think it matters :)
i'm doing quite well, by the way. besides the taste of fear in the back of my throat due to the upcoming influx of deadlines coming my way.
i might be able to use that...i'll look into it
