So I had a sucky birthday. My family didn't even bother to say Happy Birthday. Only two of my friends even wished me Happy Birthday. (and no Grant, you did not). Sucked.

OK, so here's why I am frustrated. I express that I am down and in need to a friend and I get two responses: "Let it go" and "realize that no one person can be everything to you." Am I so wrong to just expect a friend that would say something encouraging? Or at least express the desire to help or make me feel better? Or even just to sympathize ( Read more... )

I thought I liked Colorado Springs, but I am finding myself really worn down. I am "in" so many people's lives, and I try to give to them. It just seems like I don't get a lot in return. Today I read Grant's LJ page and my name was mentioned. I can die happy now.

I work more hours than most people I know. I don't think people get how much work it takes to run a school. Then I go to school full-time on top of that--it is a lot of work. I get so tired! Summer is almost over. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I am going to go work out, then probably watch some movies before small group. I am going to the Spot tonight to listen to Jordan do the teaching part.

OK Grant, you get your way. I will post to my live journal. See the problem is that my life is so interesting I am afraid they will publish a book of my postings and I won't see a cent. Dang it.
