Long time no see.

I just learned that my sister and brother-in-law will be having another kid. I'm hoping this one is a boy since they already have an almost 2 year old girl. Glad I heard some good news today. I could use it.

Today has been the end of real crappy week for me: first my sister's friend's mother passed away on Tuesday and the funeral was Friday. (who is also a good friend of my Mom's) Now I know the family kinda (meaning I know my sister's friend and her parents) all my life. And she was my Mom's age 59. I haven't updated this thing in a while but some things need to be said. My birthday is coming in t-minus five days in counting and for the first time in ever I feel old and crappy.
