onion soup reflections
Maureen is playing with Isla in the other room. She is so great with her. Everyday I become more and more confident in going back to work and knowing that Maureen is loving Isla as I do. Italian sausage
I am making the baddest meal tonight! So simple.. italian sausage seared in garlic and chili and oil, add some mushrooms and onions, and some stewed tomatos. I put half a veggie stock cube in the veggies, and some peri peri marinade on the meat and now its simmering and smells soooo good. twitter sucks so far. Have been unable to load a picture for 30 minutes now, with it always asking me to login. Either the service sucks or i suck. Probably the latter because I feel like ass right now! -

I am nervous starting some new web social club because it seems so overwhelming. Already it has told me twice that it is over capacity with too many 'tweets' and to try again later. Hmmm not helping with my anxiety. All this to communicate with others I may not even know. Ok, I have one follower now... my seester. -
life as I know it today
Alot has happened this year, with the most significant being the birth of our lil' baby doll, Isla Alice Wangui Njoroge. Isla because i think its a pretty and simple name, Alice for my grandmother, Wangui for Njoro's Mom, and Njoroge the family name, tribal name. This baby growing inside me is moving alot these days. I am told that where they are active in the belly, one could predict that the trend will continue when they are out of the belly. Is this true? If it is I am in luck as lil'bambino is kicking like crazy during the day, at work, in meetings, on the drive home, sitting on the couch... But at ( Read more... ) -
budgets can seriously harm your health
I'm knee deep in budget errors this week and while this may not mean anything to anyone but me, its seriously stressing me out. Not to mention that both my big toes are ichy ichy today. Is this something I should worry about? -

I brought chocolates this morning to share with the office; well those that are in the other over the holiday (like me), and upon opening the chocolates had melted into each other.
