The Core is one of the worst movies I have ever seen, but I still watch it any time it is on TV.

John Ottman is using a lot of the John Williams source material for his score for Superman Returns. For some reason, this is a big deal for me. I am excited.

In the Casino Royal movie, James Bond will not play baccarat against his nemesis. He will instead play Texas Hold'em poker. James Bond would never do anything involving the word Texas. He's too cool for that

I got a letter today, saying that Michigan State is offering me a quarter-time teaching assistantship. This means that if I work 10 hours a week, I will get about $700 a month, a 9-credit/semester tuition waiver, and full health insurance. Nice.
