The Past
Describe your childhood:
I am an incredibly spoiled child, so when I was little I pretty much got everything and anything I wanted. Of course, I never knew that I was "spoiled" so most of my childhood I was pretty much happy and content. I have had good times with my parents and family, but trust me... I was brat (and I think I still in ways). Things changed for me when I was eight and around that time I think was the darkest for me. I had just moved to a new city, the new friends I made were not the greatest, and times were just difficult for me. I lost a lot of faith in people and in myself. I really felt that I had no place in this world. However, at the same time, that was when I found ice skating, art, and music. My childhood was also filled with a lot of dreaming and imagination. If I can recall correctly, I pretty much lived in my own world of castles and princes that I could kiss anytime I wanted to. I loved roleplaying and make-believe--- oh and dancing as well. I would dance everywhere I went with music blasting in my room. My mom and my cousins would always complain because I had habit of slamming myself into walls.
What is your favorite childhood memory?:
Honest truth, I don't exactly have one. I have had a lot of fun times and I don't think I could exactly point one out that was better than the other.
Did you have a favorite toy when you were little? If so, what was it?:
Yes I did--- two of them. One was a white baby blanket which I loved to death. My dad once took it the laundromat and brought it back all shredded and torn. I was so angry that happened, that I couldn't help but tell my parents I "hated" them. I also had a little pink Barney plush which was really cute. I renamed him "Big Mousey".
Did/Do you collect something? (For example- stamps, cars, dolls...):
I collected Barbie dolls. I still have them in my closet right now. My favorite ones are the ice skating dolls~ and the hula ones. All still in their boxes. I've also collected rocks that I thought were pretty.
Describe a memorable...
Joyous Event:
Last year, around this time, I invited some friends over for Anime Night. We didn't do much anime, but we all had so much fun just... being together. It was the best friend bonding experience I ever had. I remember the six of us at the dinner table eating pizza and just having a good time. I remember one of my friends decided to make a toast and he said, "I'm really thankful that you guys are here and I've never had such friends like you all before."
And I felt the exact same way too.
Emotional Event:
Many months after the above event happened, things no longer were the same. Two of my my friends ended up fighting over jealously and other things. I remember another friend who didn't come that night was trying to help them patch up, but it never worked. I was talking to him on the phone, telling me about what had happened and I remember I was sitting in corner of my closet crying late at night because they were hurting each other for no reason. Silly I know, but I love them very much so I couldn't help myself.
Exciting Event:
I got first place at an ice skating competition in Las Vegas. It was my very first almost-perfectly-clean program. I worked so hard for that competition and I was really proud of that accomplished. I think that was the day that I proved to myself that I was as a good skater and that proof of my growth since I started when I was eight.
Scary Event:
I was at ice skating practice and a boy hit me in the leg with his ice skating blade. I was bleeding all over the ice and an ambulance had to come take me to the hospital. I think the only reason I was scared though was because everyone was panicking and my mom was crying.
Regretful Event:
I took my dog, Pocket, out on a walk to the park without my parents' permission. When I was there, a big dog that was off his leash attacked my dog and I had to separate the two. My dog was injured by her arm and was bleeding. I didn't know what to do so I just walked away from the seen without ever confronting the owners. I wish I went back to confront them or never go to the park in the first place. My dog is fine now and she still thinks she is a big ol' dog (silly little Yorkie!), but I still blame myself for ever putting her through it in the first place.
Tragic Event:
My grandma passed away at the end of of my 6th grade year. She took care of me for 12 years and seeing her go was the most depressing moment in my life. This is how it really feels to lose someone you love, who loves you back.
Out-of-the-ordinary Event:
I went to France, Italy, and Malta through the People-to-People program about three years ago. I befriended this girl who literally, changed my life around. She was this girl with the most perfect golden heart and a great love for the simple beautiful things in life. She helped me see life in a different light, to want to make a change in the world, and the inspire humankind. I can never thank her enough and I miss her dearly.
Life-Changing Event:
The ice rink that I skated at for almost half of my life was demolish last March. It was pretty much almost my whole life, but now it's gone. This have entirely changed and I no longer skate as I once did before. However, if that did not happen I would not have been involved in Drama this year.
The Present
How do you think others view you?:
I think people generally see me as sweet (from what I usually hear) and I'm the sort of the person who just stands there and sort of looks around. I think other people also see me as a sort of geek and little annoying. And there is some that see me as goofy and enthusiastic, and even a little fiery. It all depends I guess.
What makes you stand out from other people?:
Um. People usually bring up that I'm "talented and creative".
How do you view your family? Describe it's current situation:
I love my family, but I do see myself as the black sheep. It's hard and home has been the source of my anger for many years. But I know they love me and I can see it. I do believe it's almost time from me to start making my own roads for myself though.
How do you view your friends? Describe it's current situation:
My friends are surely unique, but I love them. They have taught me so many things and I wish to continue to always laugh, love, and dream with them. However, this year I'm starting to realize their true colors, but nonetheless I am greatful to them.
What are your views on love?:
As of right now, I have no care for romantic love. Therefore, I put all my love into my friends and family.
What are your views on life in general?:
Life has so many beautiful things in it. From the tiniest grain of sand to the little human moments that happen, they all glitter in their own special way. I know there will be a lot of difficult obstacles and suffering, but there is still a lot of hope if you allow for it to exist. You take your life and make it your own. No exceptions.
Who are your role models? Why?:
Read my "out-of-the-ordinary" event.
What is something that you feel passionately about?:
Creativity and the fight against animal cruelty.
The Future
What are your dreams or goals?:
To travel the world and to live happily doing what I love to do.
What is one thing that you would change about yourself?:
Perhaps my fiery attitude. I wish I just had a little bit more patience when it came to real life situations.
What is one thing that you would change about about the world?:
To have a little more human kindess and compassion. I don't need for everyone to be nice, but just a little can go a long way.
Describe your ideal happy ending:
The world is at it's prettiest, the skies are clear, and I'm on my way to final make my dreams into reality.
Other
What is your favorite fairytale?:
I love The Little Mermaid and I don't just simply love it for the sad ending or the happy ending. I love... all the little details about it! I love it from it's description of the sea gardens to the castle. I love reading how the roof of the castle is made of cockleshells and that each one contains a pearl.
Do you agree with your regular stamp? Explain the reasons why/why not?:
Yes I do. I can see so much her sassiness that I possess and the way we think (I think :'D) is similar too. Although I don't think I'm as "outgoing" as she is.
Post your favorite quote/motto/lyrics:
"Be as a bird perched on a frail branch that she feels bending beneath her, still she sings away all the same, knowing she has wings." ~ Victor Hugo
Describe a special place of yours:
The park a night. It's beautiful especially on a clear night when you can roll down the hills and look at the stars.
