"That...makes scary sense, actually. Seph..." Okay, no need to crack that nut again.

"Angeal? Angeal died?!" Which obviously lends to fact that the Angeal in his world is very much alive. "How?" Why will probably be the next question on his list.

Zack has an echo. 'Angeal?' That from Cloud finally, the youngest SOLDIER shocked out of his shy, watchful silence.

Teré reacts much the same, if silently, though she gives Seph a quick look. 'I don't know Genesis,' she murmurs, the most tactful way she can think of at the moment to say it. Seems wrong to leave the man's name unsaid, whoever he was.

Sephiroth would theoretically add something to the conversation, but since it seems that between the three others they've managed to get it all covered. There's is a expression of shock and/or disbelief on his face though, presumably in reference to the fact that Angeal's apparently dead in his alt's 'verse.

Sephiroth stares at his plate moodily for a moment, not even seeming to notice when the cat jumps onto his lap. Eventually he moves a hand to pet the cat, finally speaking very quietly.

"Genesis was a childhood friend of mine. We grew up together, and he was the one who convinced me to join Soldier. He was always driving me nuts with his recitations of his favorite poem and his Stupid Apples he always carried around. We met Angeal in Soldier, and the three of us used to sneak off to train together. But as we got older, Genesis...started to change. I don't really know how it happened, but one day he just vanished, and Angeal soon after. Eventually it turned out that Genesis wanted revenge on Shin-Ra and had convinced Angeal to join him."

He sighs and shakes his head. "I couldn't fight them. Zack didn't have an easier time, but...Genesis committed suicide in front of Zack, and Angeal gave him no choice."

Zack gratefully grins at Cloud's offering of bacon and eggs. Nom nom, nom-nom nom.

Zack makes some indistinct noises (thankfully, as his mouth is quite full still) as he points the more polite end of his fork. He's offering his help, if they see fit to need it.

"Lead on, then."

He'll be right behind, no matter where they end up going for this.
