It seems like my entries are short compared to everyone else's ... is it customary for one to write personal things in an online blog? I'm still not exactly sure how this thing is supposed to work ...

Anyway, I met with Vaan a few days back. He was the first person I met in person, so it was kind of awwkard, but okay. We fell asleep on the Clock ( Read more... )

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I just use my journal as a chance to rant and ramble on. Anything insanely personal I stuck under a private filter, but I'm pretty much an open book. I'll tell people anything usually.

Private filters? Interesting. Maybe I should spend some more time figuring out how these things work, exactly. It seems like it might be a good idea ...

I think it's some sort of program that is supposed to be used to help each other with like... assignments and projects and stuff. But it's got private filters on it that allows you to pick and choose who can read what you type, so if it's something sacred or whatever, just throw it behind one of those. ^^ And don't forget to set the security level on it! Such a newbie mistake. -3-

Does "that day" = birthday? 83

Assignments? Really? That's ... definitely interesting, seeing as how I haven't seen a single person refer to homework on here, haha. But, ah well. That's good to know, thanks.

And no ... I almost wish it was. Anything would be better than having to think about it ...

We did at one point in time, we still do sometimes. Like about this time next year I gotta find someone with a heart defect in their family history, and do a report on some various points about it. So when that rolls around, I might put up a request for volunteers. x3

Something bad happen? D: I won't push, but if you need to talk~

Huh, sounds intense. And almost a little dangerous somehow.

Just something that happened when I was younger ... something I guess I haven't been able to shake off. It's stupid, really.

...I hadn't really thought about how we could have fallen to our deaths that day/night. O_o

It's no problemo that your journal entries are short, half the time mine are too. You don't have to record EVERY MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE in this thing. It's just for boredom/when you really need to share things.

And, by 'that day,' you mean...?

Yeah, it's a little weird, huh? I mean, I know what I'm doing when I'm awake, but if one of us had leaned over too far while we were sleeping ...

I guess you're right. Hopefully nobody expects too much when they read this, haha.

Ah, that .. it's something kind of ... I'm not really sure how to put it.

Oh, man, don't even talk like that, it's scaring me.

Really, I don't think anyone does, it's an online journal, not some big masterpiece.

...can you try? You've made me curious now.

Yeah, it's starting to freak me out, too. I'm glad we woke up in time to get down. Even though it was really dark.

Uhh, just issues, you know. Those tragic pasts that everyone around here seems to have, etc.

The clock tower in the middle of town? Right at the top under the little overhang? That used to be my hangout, too. I can't get there anymore, though, I'm too big and much too old.

May I inquire as to what "that day" refers to, or is that something you don't really want to talk about?

Yeah, exactly. It's the most beautiful place in the city, I think. Definitely has the perfect view ... And I think sea salt ice cream tastes better there than anywhere else. It's a shame you had to stop going, though..

It's ... kind of a heavy subject.

It is the best place, although the #3 pier on the beach is a close second.
It is a shame, but as you age, your body can't do things it used to be able to when you were young. I tried going to the top again when I moved back here, but I only ended up with aching knees and a dire need for a couple of aspirin.

That's fine; I understand. If you ever need someone to talk to, stop by and I'll drop what I'm doing for you.

Huh, I've never been to that one. But maybe I'll have to go there sometime. Anywhere beautiful is definitely worth it.

Thank you. It's ... nice to know that so many people are willing to listen around here.
