So, Summer's coming up soon, huh? It seems weird to think that it's gonna happen so fast, but then, I guess that's what I get for transferring in during the spring semester ( Read more... )

I'll probably still be around. Can't be bothered going home when there's no one to go home to. May go back for a couple of days to put flowers on the graves, but that'll be it.

Haha, thanks. I'll pass your message onto the still-hungover swim team. They all did seriously well. I can't wait to get back to fitness and swim again next season.

That sounds ... depressing. I'm sorry that it has to be that way for you, Riku. Really, I am. But hey, maybe we'll be able to actually meet in person sometime, huh? Hanging around campus can't be so bad.

Haha, thanks. Maybe you'll break some records next season or something.

Nah, it's not too bad. I did it last year for a bit before I wandered off and traveled. And don't be sorry about my parents, Roxas. Things are the way they are for a reason. Though I'm pretty sure that's the token response someone's meant to give when they don't want to think about their dead loved ones...

I've held a couple of speed records in competition before. I think it's the only reason Coach puts up with my crap, or else I'm sure he'd drop me! But yeah, man, we need to meet up. Go do lunch or something.

Alright, well ... If you don't want to think about it, I won't say anything else. But if you do ever find yourself wanting to talk or anything ... you know, I'm willing to listen.

Really? Nice! And yeah, I definitely agree. It seems weird to think that I've never actually seen you walking around campus or anything.

I'm sorry you're sick, Roxas. Did you want me to bring you anything? Soup? Medicine?

I'm going to Rabanastre first to see Vaan and take some pictures of the architecture before I head to Europe with my sister. I'm going to all the major cities of art and culture, and I can't wait to see it all! With my next scholarship installment, I'll be able to book it :)

Nah, you don't have to do that. I'm more of the suffer in silence type. Plus, I tend to get clingy when I'm sick, and that's annoying.

Oh yeah, Rabanastre. That's weird, I guess I kind of ... forgot that Vaan would be leaving too. It sounds like an awesome trip though. You'd better take tons of pictures to show me when you get back, yeah?

Roxas, it's okay! I don't mind! I'll come by and bring you the notes you missed about the exams. I could do with the company. The last couple of days have been... hard.

I've never been on vacation before, so I'm excited! And to be going to cities so rich in artistic history... I'll take lots of pictures, just for you!

Well, if you insist, fine. But don't say I didn't warn you. And .. hard? What do you mean? Did something happen?

You better! And while you're at it, you should drop me a postcard or something while you're overseas.

Sinusitis~? That's totally fun, yeah? ;D A heating pad can help clear up chest congestion. Try to keep your room cool but humid. Don't drink milk, 'cause that'll only worsen the mucus situation, but a tall glass of cold orange juice and a warm bowl of chicken soup can cure anything! 8D Also, if things don't clear up in a few days, I have some Tammiflu that'll kick the ass of anything you got in your body. :P

I plan to stick around here this summer. I kind of have to, what with therapy, pets, work, and family... but I may take my fiancée and her little boy and go back to Vegas or somewhere for a week. We'll have to see what's going on.

Hey, want some free pizza? :D

Oh yeah, loads of fun. Thanks for the advice, though. I'll give it a try and see what happens. Hopefully I'll be up and around again by tomorrow.

That sounds like a good plan! Can you take a kid to Vegas, though?

Free pizza? Sure, why not?

You should be. Lots of rest helps, but good luck sleeping with a soggy chest. :P

Yeah, we took him during Spring Break and he loved it. There are a lot of water parks and places to go do kiddy stuff, plus most casinos have little kid arcades and baby sitting, so it's all good. :3

WHOO! I can get rid of the stuff now! What room are you in? I'll hobble and bring it to you!

Yeah, I've noticed how nearly impossible that is. But, oh well. I'll keep trying anyway.

Oh, I didn't know that. Well, that sounds nice then. Hopefully you guys will have a good vacation.

Wait, get rid of it? Is there something poisonous in it or something? And uh, shit, I can never remember my own room number. In the rooms closest to the art buildings, second floor, last door on the right. I'm too lazy to get up and check the number.

I'm going on vacation with Nami this summer, but I also plan to take some summer classes during the later part of the summer. I'd go home for a while, but things are just too weird around there tight now.

It sucks being sick... especially when it's your sinuses giving you problems. Hope you feel better soon!

Yeah, I heard from her that you guys are going together. It's sure to be an awesome trip, so I hope you have a good time!

Thanks, Kairi. I'm trying my best to get over this as quickly as possible. End of the year projects are making it almost impossible to relax!

If you really want to clear up your sinuses, boil water with menthol, throw a towel over your head and the pot, and inhale the steam. Clears you right out, but you can scald yourself on the steam, so be careful. I would also recommend a nice hot shower, but seeing as this is a dorm, I don't know if you can get enough hot water to be truly effective. If you're going for the boiling water, you can borrow my hotplate if you don't have one.

I'm basically doing the same as you. I'll be working with Father whenever I'm not taking summer courses. Miss Aeris and I may also be taking a trip to Spira, but that's still up in the air.

Hm, I might have to try that if things aren't clearing up for me in a couple of days. I tried to shower method earlier and it seemed to work, at least temporarily. At least I'm showing some signs of improvement.

Haha, well at least I'm not the only one sticking around for summer classes. That makes me feel a little better.

It normally is a last-ditch effort for me. I must admit, it's not very pleasant at all, and it can be almost painful sometimes. But it'll work without fail, and I will guarantee it.

I have to take them in order to be a RA for next year. I think I would've taken them anyway, because I can only re-shingle roofs, fix watches, or paint houses so many times before it gets monotonous.
