If anyone happens to have any advice...um...how do you tell a femme how much you like her? I mean, like...you're absolutely sure she's the one you would sparkbond with, but you don't want to tell her that yet because you don't want to seem like you're pressuring her to commit or anything, but you still want to say, "I love you and I want to be with ( Read more... )

It's not that hard. You just say this. "I good mech, you good femme." Or something. I picked that up from a movie. Though, to be fair, it did get me slapped the first time I tried it. And the second. And the third. And... well, nevermind, don't use that.

I've also heard that girls like having poetry read to them. Is that true?

If you find you are having difficulty conveying your feelings in spoken words, perhaps try leaving a thoughtful, romantic gift with a letter. Doing so will allow you to put down your thoughts without the danger of beating about the bush or stammering. You can reword and revise as much as you want until you are sure that what you have is exactly what you want to say.

Good luck!

This, is an excellent idea. Now if I only had a clue what to give her as a gift. ^^;; *thinks then snaps his fingers* As if I don't have enough gadgets laying around, I could put together something nifty for her. =D

Thanks, Tracks!

Unfortunately, I have no advice to give...except maybe to listen to Tracks. He seems to know what he's talking about. I met a lady I really liked and I couldn't manage to say much of anything I meant without messing it up. ...so I just kissed her, instead, and while that effectively got the point across, I was probably lucky I didn't get decked for being too forward.

No problem, I'll go with what Tracks, First Aid, and Mirage suggested so far. *glances warily at Air Raid*

Of course, if any other suggestions come up in the future, I'll gladly hear 'em. ^^;

I'm afraid I'm with Ratchet, in that I'm not exactly the best person to ask about such things. *c__c*;; Our 'courtship' was rather... a-typical. ^_^; She was the one who really made the first moves. (I thank Primus for that, because I'm not sure I would ever have been able to. ._.;)

Tracks probably does have the best ideas. And I echo his statement wishing you good luck.

Well, worse-comes-to-worse, Latch... you can just tune into Street's "story hour"... and see if any inspiration strikes. XD

Oh dear... Rattlelatch if you follow that advice you may very well scar the femme for life. @_@

My advice is to be honest and let the cards fall where they may.

I'd like to veto that veto. In fact I'm sure I have a book that deals with almost the same problem you have! (minus the big metal robot and plus a few pirates and tribal royalty...)

Or there's always taking up stalking. Nothing says "I love you" like popping up every half hour and checking her email! ;D
