Can anybody explain why Dreamwidth? Is it better, or simply an attention splitter?

Not only do I still read it, if I'm gone for several days I will literally go back and glance through all the posts I've missed. I still think this is way better than Facebook.

I think so too, particularly for the writing side of things. I find I read Facebook a bunch (partly because I can get it on my phone) but I post less and less.

I should check and see if there is an LJ app for my phone.
